Website Island Biker Terms and Conditions of Sale

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions in the Island Biker shop. The use of the site indicates your acceptance of these conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. This does not affect any statutory you may have.

Accuracy of product information

All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturers, or been gathered from public domain sources. The intention of Island Biker is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, Island Biker cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.

Payment and Price

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier’s prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancer the order. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be indicated at the times of placing the order.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from suppliers, taxes or duty charges, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order is confirmed. If you have already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a repayment in full.

Payment Methods

We accept Cheques, Paypal, Credit card payments through Paypal and Postal orders.

You must provide us with your exact billing address and email address. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once payment has been received.

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery Charges

All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price of the products at the checkout and as determined by the weight.We do not refund shipping charges.

Delivery Times

Delivery of products within the UK will be made within 2-4 working days from clearance of payment. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs or damages due to delay in arrival of goods.

Risk

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver to the address on your order. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss damage to the goods shall be at your risk. Any transit damage to the goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment at the time of delivery.

All discrepancies must be notified to us within 7 days of delivery date.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Special Note:

For obvious reasons we cannot /do not offer refunds on Helmets. Your statutory rights are unaffected and faulty goods can be returned to us for return to manufacturer.

Novelty Helmets are not designed to be worn for head protection and should not be worn for such a purpose. We shall not be held liable for any accidents arising from unsafe practices or for using the helmet for the purpose for which it was / is not designed to be used.

All D.O.T.Helmets sold on this website have been verified safe with the department of transport IN THE U.S.A. & are sold as D.O.T Approved. HOWEVER it is YOUR responsibility to check with current law for it’s safe use in the UK.
